Draper Poolhouse in Salt Lake with Indoor Pool

This house was awesome for our staff retreat with 15 adults. The pool was a hit and everything was great. Had a couple minor issues but the host was extremely responsive. The house itself needs some updating which wasn’t clear in the listing pictures but it was very clean and the experience we had was great. 10\10 would stay here again. Thanks for having us!

Everything was perfect. We hosted our company retreat and couldn’t have asked for a better location, home. The games room, movie theatre was such a cool addition and the indoor heated pool and spa made for some nice relaxing time even when it was cold. Plenty of space for our team. The host was also very friendly and made sure we had everything needed. We will be back next year.

Overall, the stay here was good. There was plenty of space to accommodate everyone and so many amenities we didn't feel the need to leave. One frustration I have renting from a third party company is that they communicate in so many methods that information gets lost. I would have e-mail from Utah's Best and text messages saying different information. Also it was complicated keeping track of everything. I usually prefer to use Airbnb because in theory all the information should be there but instead I had to check an e-mail (that was very very long) just to find the key code. It's also insane that they say you can only park 7 cars here when it can easily accommodate 15 in their driveway without any alternative parking place being offered. I would have also loved more transparency about all the house rules prior to our stay, such as keeping doors closed (they can't stay open more than 2 minutes) or you'll be fined. There was just a lot that wasn't up front, but the house itself was fine.

Such an amazing home to accommodate large family. My family and I had so much fun here all being able to hang out together. My toddler son enjoyed the pool and spacious play area. Our entire group visited Snowbird every day to ski or snowbird, and found the property very conveniently located, with a 25min drive to and from Snowbird.

We had a group of 15 adults and 2 toddlers, and the house worked great for US. Plenty of beds and baths. Thank you for the laundry detergent because we went through a lot of towels. The downstairs bar area, pool, hot tub and sauna got a lot of use by everyone. The location was convenient to the airport and Snowbird where we skied. The shelves in the garage were great to store the ski gear. Wish there was larger frying pans and more trash bags as a group our size did a lot of our own cooking. All in all – we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

I understand wanting people to take care of your property but warnings and threats on basically every door or wall is a little much. Rooms off of the pool area have poor air circulation and stayed extremely warm. Issues were minor and we could easily deal with them. There was a lot to entertain a large group. The house had plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was adequately stocked. I would definitely recommend this rental for someone needing lots of bedrooms and entertainment for kids.

The house delivered as expected. The kitchen could have been a little larger. The movie room was great and a nice size indoor pool and hot tub were nice as well. My only real drawback to the property, was its location. I thought it was much closer to Alta and Snowbird than it actually was. So you do have to travel a distance for skiing.

Everything about this house made it perfect for our ladies getaway- plenty of space, bedrooms, bathrooms, a huge table to sit around, close to shopping and eating. The ONLY thing I could say to improve this house is to get softer pillows, but if you bring your own, that won't be an issue.

Our group could not have been happier with this property. Everything from start to finish was perfect and the location was amazing. We enjoying relaxing as a group in the movie room, sitting as a group in the kitchen, and taking walks around the neighborhood area. We had a family reunion of 30 people here and it was perfect. The beds were comfortable and linens were soft. Big enough to spread out but still be together. Theatre room was fantastic and pool was the favorite. Everything was just as advertised. Neighborhood was quiet. We would rent this rental home again. The only suggestion I have is finish the backyard with seating and trees.

We easily fit 11 adults and 14 kids in the house. The kids loved the pool and the game room. There was enough seating for everyone in the dining room. The only issues were that the upstairs never really cooled down (due to the heat wave maybe?) and the two bunk rooms by the theatre room were a little awkward to manage. That said if you want to put 25 people under one roof this was a good option.

Really enjoyed this house. We were a bit worried about little kids and the pool, but there was nothing to worry about. It has a kid safe cover when not in use (loved it). The theatre room was fantastic. This house has lots of space. It's got some normal wear and tear, but it was very clean and well appointed with everything you could possibly need. We had a family reunion in it and it worked out well for everyone!

This is a great property, pretty centrally located to everything we had planned for our stay. It is minutes away from a Walmart, perfect for last minute pickups. Less than 30 minutes from SLC and the airport. The house itself was great! Plenty of room for all 28 guest in our group to sleep. The game room downstairs, the indoor pool and sauna were all great amenities to pass time in between events. The check in/out process was perfect and very easy. I received instructions for the property several times prior to the trip which made it easy to send my group the information before everyone arrived. The only incident I encountered was the alarm code did not work when we originally arrived, but a quick phone call to the Management team and it was resolved within minutes. The team was very responsive and helpful anytime I had questions. We definitely enjoyed our stay and will absolutely use Utah’s Best again when I travel next season!

The pool, jacuzzi, theatre and walking trail gave us so many options for things to do. I would recommend this house for a trip with children. Plenty of space for them to get their wiggles out. Check in/out and figuring out how the house worked was easy with the detailed email we received. The pool and movie theater room were a big hit. We stayed for 4 nights and didnt even have time to use all the amenities. My only suggestion for improvement would be to fix the sauna (it gets warm but not hot) -- though the website clearly said it was not operational. That's the perfect sized group for this home, although it sleeps more. The sauna has a new heater that heats that sauna amazingly. The temperature knob just has to be set at the proper temperature. We hosted 25 adults for skiing and watching the NCAA b-ball tourney. We had plenty of room and so much fun. The place was in good order and only some minor wear and tear was noticeable. The tv by the pool didn’t work upon arrival but there were about 10 other TVs in the house plus the movie theater. This place was great. Quite neighborhood with lots to do. We would absolutely recommend and return!

We brought our whole family--25 of us-- ranging from 11 yrs old to 72 and enjoyed the house very much. The youngsters took the opportunity to bunk with their cousins instead of having to room with their parents/siblings in some cases, which was both facilitated and necessitated by the sleeping arrangements but it all worked out harmoniously and was a lot of fun for the whole group. The size of the house and the diversity of activities possible let everyone spread out at times but gather for meals at the large, (change that to huge), dining table. We had one sudden surprise when the kitchen sink started spewing water but a call to UBVR had a repairman out very quickly, even though it was at night over the Christmas/New Years week. Management did a great job of keeping us informed of his arrival and he was most friendly and effective in fixing the problem. We would certainly recommend this property to others with a similar group.

Our large family enjoyed our stay at this location. It was a wonderful location and a fun home. We had plenty of space. The large dinning area made mealtime run smoothly. We enjoyed the theater and The kids enjoyed the game room. THE POOL WAS A HIT FOR ALL!

This house had everything we needed for our family reunion. There was enough space for all the kids to play, while at the same time then adults to relax. The game room, the pool room, and the theater were all amazing! The house was clean and our family was very happy with our stay.

This is a phenomenal house -- the amenities are so amazing that they are almost unbelievable. We really enjoyed the indoor pool and the movie theater, and the two kitchens were both very nice. The house was clean and beautiful, and it had everything that we needed in terms of towels, toiletries, etc. The rental management company was also very responsive -- easy to get them on the phone, hear back on Airbnb, etc.
My only call-out would be that two of the bedrooms (each with a bunk bed) have windows that look into the movie theater. This wasn't an issue for us, but if you have people who want to watch movies late into the night, it may be hard to use these rooms.

Paradise for families. Huge yard, game room, and pool. Our kids were in heaven. Location was great too- went to the aquarium and ninja warrior gym. Perfect spring break.

The property is well kept, beautifully decorated and comfortable sleeping for my huge family! The house offers so many activities we didn't have to leave for days. Although we were close to the mall and tons of great restaurants, we mostly wanted to play in the pool and enjoy the theater. This house has become our favorite family retreat location. We have already re-booked for our next yearly reunion. Highly recommend!

The photos does not do this house justice! It is the BEST for a family reunion. The pool, sauna and game room is great. The theater room made watching videos as a family perfect. The bedrooms are comfortable and it is so close to skiing(snowbird and park city) and activities(tubing). PERFECT for a getaway. We were kind of scattered at night as the bedrooms are all over the place but my favorite thing was the kitchen table was big enough for our group of 24!!!

We had 20 people and the space was perfect! Everyone had a bed, and the space was huge. There were so many different rooms or places to lounge, chat, or get some quiet time. Great space for large groups or multiple families. Loved our stay. Our men's basketball team from UC Davis were there for the NIT and as the Dir of Operations, this place was an awesome treat for our fantastic season. We were in Utah to play against the University of Utah in the NIT! Thank you for a memorable experience for our team. Go Ags!

House is as advertised, and great for our annual ski trip! Property management was extremely easy to deal with, and we'll definitely be back next year because of that. The pool gets very warm, and beds were very comfortable. Theater room was amazing; best we've had! Would definitely recommend.

If you have a big extended family and they are gathering to Utah for . . . well anything, this is a perfect home. Plenty of parking (big garage, driveways, even room for our RV on the side). Lots of bedrooms, nooks, sofa-couches, etc. The game room was awesome and kept the kids entertained for hours. The movie-theater room was also awesome. The internet connection speed was blazing! Only negative . . . backyard is nothing special . . . don't plan on playing in it. But with such an indoor playground, you won't even miss it. We don't have any complaints. We had a great time.

We had a family reunion with a couple of families, each with kids.
We swam a lot in the amazing pool, had foosball, pop-a-shot and air hockey tournaments, and played Xbox. The movie theatre is awesome. Very close to the freeway, easy access. Big dining table made meals very easy.
The back yard is huge but not really usable - maybe a future improvement to lay sod for visitors to play soccer or football. Also, using the movie theatre was a little confusing but we eventually figured it out.

The property was beautiful. Great home with lots of activities for a large family. We loved the pool and the large movie theatre.
The lights in the sauna didn't work and our call to the landlord about a couple of inoperative issues was not returned. Nevertheless, overall we were very happy.

This house was everything we expected and more. We held a staff retreat at the house and it was a perfect setting. The media room was an amazing training space and the large dining room table worked perfect for team dinners and a second meeting space. The layout and size of the house gave everyone plenty of space but also encouraged team building outside of the formal training time. The game room was the site of "serious" competition amongst friends and colleagues. The house was perfectly located with all amenities within minutes (stores, restaurants, etc.), easy to reach from SLC airport, and surrounded by breathtaking mountains and a wonderful walking path right behind the house.

The host provided excellent instructions prior to our arrival and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend this house for a large family, gathering of friends or a staff retreat. It was wonderful!
