Sand Hollow Golf Course is located at Sand Hollow State Park. The course has been rated Utah's #1 golf course multiple times, as well as top ten in the nation. Sand Hollow Golf Course is a golfer's paradise! The Championship Course is situated on a massive sandstone rock formation and is comparative to golfing on a cliff. Designed by John Fought and Andy Staples, the course weaves gracefully through outcroppings of gorgeous red rock. Enjoy driving a golf ball over the edge of a cliff just to see how far you can make it fly. Combine that with the reflecting sunset on the Virgin River as you finish your round, and you’ll be wishing you had your best buddy here with you.

Incredible Southern Utah Golf Experience

The golf course incorporates steep ridge lines, deep canyons, and expansive elevations to create one of the most incredible golf experiences in the country. 

Southern Utah's premier golf course destination. It features 2 courses (18-hole Championship Course and 9-hole Links Course) with 27 playable holes. This facility takes advantage of all the natural scenery Southern Utah has to offer. The Golf Courses were designed by a couple of the best minds in today's game - John Fought and Andy Staples. They were able to pull off a very playable, picturesque, challenging and wonderful course; it's truly a gem. 

Book your tee time in advance as these courses are very popular year round. You can book tee times online using link at bottom of this page, or call (435) 656-4653. Arrive early to practice at the driving range, or polish your putting skills at the practice putting green. There is also a nice chipping area and practice bunker, which you will need as the course is full of cliff-side bunkers that challenge even the most seasoned golfers.

Located adjacent to Sand Hollow Golf Course is the Sand Hollow State Park, which offers a beautiful reservoir with warm blue sapphire water. Boaters and water sports enthusiasts flock to this lake for boating, tubing, skiing, jet skiing, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and relaxing on the beautiful red sand beaches. For sand dune lovers, Sand Mountain offers more than 15,000 explorable acres of silk smooth red sand dunes. Rent ATVs, UTVs, or dune buggies at the beach to have hours and hours of fun in the sand.

"My husband and I are keen golfers. We travel extensively and play golf all over the world. this rates up in the top three. Course is so well looked after ( the management, green keepers etc should be real proud) and the views are magnificent We did visit the course the day before and were (well I was anyway) slightly overwhelmed by the number of bunkers and the narrowness of the fairways. however when playing it, if you think your way around it is an awesome course. Staff there were great and they even had a starter who was real helpful with advice, and the gps on the buggies was truly awesome - they have invested big time here and it shows. Fabulous place - so fabulous that we are even thinking of coming all the way back here from Thailand next year to play this and other great courses in the area. The area is a hidden gem for a golfing holiday..."
