Oaks at Wasatch in Salt Lake with Private Hot Tub

We truly enjoyed our trip to Utah. The location was great to both Big and Little cottonwood canyon. The house was very comfortable for our families. The kids loved the basement and it allowed for the parents to enjoy the main floor. Kitchen had lots of plates and utensils. The dinning room table sat all of us which was lovely for family dinners. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The management team was very responsive. We look forward to staying again!

Huge house, great for groups. 3.5 bathrooms with 2 common areas. Big hot tub and soft carpets. Very convenient for Snowbird/Alta access. Kitchen has everything you need, some pans are on the older side but not a problem if your group is not high society.

Over all this property was everything as advertised. We had some issues with the hot tub turning cloudy and smelly. Someone came out to clean and refill the tub but didn't put bromine tablets. Eventually the tablets were put in and all was well. The downstairs bathroom light did not turn off and the TV's in each room didn't want to turn off either so we turned off manually. We did not end up using them so it wasn't a big issue. Parking can be tight even with two cars. But I would recommend this place and come back. When I called the property manager I got prompt responses.

A nice and comfortable stay for a 7 of us. We have 3 families. All 3 parents have our own bedrooms upstair while the boys have their own bedroom with bunkbeds and living space down in the basement. It was a perfect set up.

The condo is newly remodeled and was very clean. There were enough beds for 8 guys to have there own bed.
The location is perfect for skiing the canyons and the complex has a traffic light to get out in the mornings. It is a half mile to Smith’s grocery store and close to The Porcupine Grill.

The property was perfect for allowing our family of six to spread out with all of winter gear. It was efficient and convenient. Definitely recommend staying here as it has plenty room and is so close to most of the snowboarding resort's! (which is why we booked here in the first place). My only suggestion if you have to make any requests or ask any questions during your stay is to submit it during the office hours. I only mention it because we had a time contingency in the early morning and instead of staying an extra day for no response prior to 10am we decided to pack up early and leave. This might just be poor communication on my part but in my experience all other air bnb stays had more accommodating timely reply's that gave us a more fulfilling experience. none the less if you can plan accordingly this is a great place to stay especially for the snowboarding season!

It was great to sit back and relax with each other. The only drawbacks were the narrow driveway and limits on hot tub time at night. The kid mattresses could be upgraded also.

Thanks for your comments and input. Our team works so hard to make this home one-of-a-kind. We are glad you loved the peace and quiet. Hot tub hours have to be no later than 10pm because homes are close together, so we don't want to cause issues with respecting other's quiet time. Good input on the mattresses for the kids. We try to provide quality comfortable mattresses. The driveways in this community are tight due to how close the homes are, one large SUV will fit in garage, one in driveway (or 2 compact cars). As we were in the area to spend time with family we were not there a lot, but it was great looking and super clean. Take note that only one garbage bag is provided, the same for toilet paper and paper towels...salt and pepper is the only food item in the kitchen. The neighborhood is pleasant and seemed very safe. There was a leak at the base of one toilet when flushed, made a report concening it, after not getting a response in 24 hours had to contact company again. All in all, we would stay again, the place is well taken care of and lovely.

Finishes are not as nice in person as in the photos. But the condo was clean and very convenient. We had a problem with the keyless entry, and they sent out a maintenance person within a reasonable time. I would stay there again. FYI, only one car fits in the garage because of the trash cans--unless your second car is very, very small. But there is enough space in the driveway for 2 cars. It worked well for us.

We loved our stay at this location! It was spacious for all 5 of my siblings and their partners so all 10 of us! It was clean and well stocked with towels and other kitchen and bathroom necessities. We were able to play fun family games with the space provided. It was a great time! They communicated well with us when there was a hot water issue. Although they tried fixing it, it didn’t get repaired while we stayed there but it did get fixed after we had checked out. So yes, no hot water but I loved that they were so communicative and helpful. We were accommodated for the inconvenience. So we are appreciative of their efforts to fix things. I would highly recommend staying here!

None of them had places large enough for a family gathering, so we rented the condo for Thanksgiving. Those that travelled to the SL valley stayed with us, while the others joined in the activities. We had a fabulous Thanksgiving, the kids really loved the condo idea and we will most likely be doing this again for another holiday! My kids with in-laws out of state really like the idea for their other family members and will probably do something similar when they come to visit. This home is more than just a Condo or townhouse. The rooms are incredibly spacious and the beds are comfortable. The pictures do not show how much room there really is. Our family felt completely at home. The sounds from the surrounding mountains lend a relaxing soundtrack to the end of the day. The grocery store is literally 2 minutes away, and being a local I appreciate the proximity to the major resorts less than 20 minutes away from the front door. The property management were outstanding when we had difficulty opening the door upon arrival and they came out immediately to switch out a chirping smoke detector battery. We will definitely book again! Next time for the holiday season! Thank you for providing us with a relaxing experience in your home.

This was a great place for our group plenty of beds a great kitchen and a hot tub. Location was perfect just outside the entrance to either canyon making it close to most of the resorts. It also was close to a grocery store, restaurants and ski shops used for discount ski tickets. The app used to get in and out of the place wasn’t the easiest to subscribe to and download but it worked fine. Water flow to the showers was week, the staff was quick to respond and fix. We needed a place to stay for a week in Salt Lake City and chose this home for our family of 7. We usually stay in hotels with 2 queens and a hide-away sofa and I can't tell you how different it was to stay in a beautiful home like this one. It had everything that we needed! The kids loved the Jacuzzi and the bunk room and we even had room for a couple of other adults had we needed it! We're already planning a ski trip back in 2019!

Very clean and well stocked home. Our group enjoyed the spacious kitchen, dining and living room. There were nine women in the house and we had plenty of bathroom space.

We stayed the weekend in this home and it is FAR better than any hotel we've ever stayed it. We love the space for the extended family to all dine together. The BBQ and Jacuzzi was a hit and everything that we needed was there. This house is super clean and modern!

We were able to stay in this home and it's STUNNING! The owners remodeled the entire home after we had originally booked our stay so we were pleasantly surprised. The home is updated, has AC was was AMAZING as it was 100 degrees the weekend we were here. There were some fun game options with an Xbox and about 30 different games. We will be using this home again any time that we visit Salt Lake City! It's so much more cozy than being in a hotel room!

First of all, I think other reviews here are pre-renovation from what I can tell, we stayed post renovation and were very pleased. Given how nice the house was we found the price incredibly reasonable. We stayed here 1 week when visiting family. The house is spacious, nicely decorated and was great for my kids. Basement is awesome. There was a large basket of toys and soft carpet for our baby to roll. Location was great- quick drive to canyons and downtown or to Thanksgiving point in other direction. Highly recommend especially for families.

The location is excellent, close to slopes and all stores and services. The price is good. It has no decoration and the carpet is well past its prime. Pack shampoo and soap, it is scarce here. Foosball in basement is broken

We had a group of 8 stay here and there was more than enough room for everyone! Amazing location as the home is conveniently located about 15-20 mins for the surrounding mountains and downtown Salt Lake City. It is about 25-30 mins away from SLC airport. The property will fit 2 large SUVs on premises but is also located right by a bus stop that takes you right to the Snowbird Tram. I’d definitely stay here again!

This house is very well located, spacious and clean. It was perfect for our large group! It seemed like a very safe neighborhood at the end of a quiet street. The garage was nice and spacious if you had a lot of gear to store. We had some issues that were out of the management's control during our stay and they were excellent and professional at getting them resolved.
I would still highly recommend it, given the price and location (which were amazing), but there are some things to be aware of before you go.
- The house was hot during the day. It was one of the hottest weeks in Utah, and the AC couldn't keep up (certainly in the group areas and the basement bedroom), not a problem too much at night and I am sure it is fine in not 100 degree weather, but it wasn't comfortable to lounge around the house in the middle of the day in the heat. At night wasn't that bad since the three rooms upstairs have their own window units facing the beds.
- The wifi is super slow and not consistent.. 1-2 MBPs in the living room and hardly anything upstairs in the bedrooms. I wouldn't count on it if you need it.
- It says online, but there is no street parking. We were able to get 3 subs/minivans in the driveway / garage, and 4 if you didn't mind the garage door having to be open. If you have guests and need more space, it is a 7 min walk to the nearest place for them to park. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of.
- The water pressure is pretty low, but on the plus side, you don't run out of hot water even with 10 people.
- The BBQ outside doesn't drain and is a fire hazard. I wouldn't recommend using it and the kitchen fan doesn't work, so make sure you open the doors before cooking things, even in the oven, otherwise the smoke alarms go off.
Last but not least, there is a new amazing coffee shop up the road called Alpha Coffee.... AMAZING at the entrance of Big Cottonwood Canyon and opens at 6:30 am

Our sincere appreciation for taking the time to thoroughly provide feedback on your stay. The challenges we faced during your stay certainly were untimely, but we appreciate you working with us as we tried to resolve them. We have of course notified our entire staff about the kitchen fridge, vent, bbq, and a/c (currently swamp cooler). Some things we are able to swiflty repair, others are part of the home's age and makeup. It is a tight community with parking (2 medium sized cars in driveway and 2 in garage), additional parking in lots in the adjacent park or parking stall pop-outs located throughout the community. Hoping this clarification will help others as they try to plan accordingly. Thanks again for choosing Utah's Best Vacation Rentals. This community is a fabulous location to both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. We are glad you found that little coffee shop. It is a hit with locals!

We really enjoyed this home and the location to the Cottonwood Canyons. Such a beautiful unit. We were impressed by how well kept it was and accommodating. The location to the mountains is by far the best feature. The mountain views and proximity to the Snowbird was fun with several great outdoor activities. We went zip-lining, fly fishing, and spent the day at the rec center pool. The park next door was also very nice and fun for the kids.

We really enjoyed staying here for our holiday ski trip. For where portions of the home are outdated, the location and quality of service totally make up for it. Utah's Best Vacation Rentals are top notch in their service - they have this rental thing dialed in. And for skiers, they saved us a lot of money on rentals and lift tickets. Very impressed. We loved the hot tub and the great location to Alta and Snowbird. We would rent again, but most of all, will seek out Utah's Best each time we visit Utah.

This home at Cottonwood was the perfect, relaxing home away from home between days at the ski resorts. The whole place was very clean and had everything required to house 8 people. Really the only thing missing was a can opener for the kitchen... which we bought at the local smiths and left behind for anyone else who stays here.

If you love the Cottonwoods Canyons you will love this house. Its right uo against the mountain. The home wasquality, clean, as advertised, and had lots of soave for us. Owner drains the hot tub in summer he said (no big deal), especially for the rate we got. There is a park next door we walked to and really enjoyed with paths and tennis and space to play for the kids. We went up to Snowbird for Octoberfest and had a blast and rode the mountain coaster. We also enjoyed many hikes in Big Cottonwood Canyon which is just right there. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others, especially skiers who want to ski the Cottonwoods.

The home was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed using the hot tub. The house is great for a group of 6-7 single people. All of us were singles, so we couldn't bring more than 7, as we didn't have couples to share the same bed. Overall we are happy with our experience at 33 Oaks at Wasatch. The house is modern, spacious, and comfortable. We came for a few days to ski at Big and Small Cottonwood Canyons
