Ski Haven in Salt Lake at Base of Big Cottonwood

This house was really well set up for our ski vacation - 20 minute drive to Alta, close to grocery store, really well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the hot tub. Large garage. Good washer/dryer and good TV set up. Great communication from Utah’s Best. Would stay here again.

Definitely one of the best vacation rentals we have experienced. Our family group of 7 enjoyed a 5 day ski vacation, and this was the perfect home base. The kitchen is well stocked, instructions were provided, and we loved the hot tub!

We had a fantastic stay with Utah’s Best Vacation Rentals! The property was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described. Check-in was smooth and communication with the host was quick and easy—they were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay.
The location was perfect for canyon access with plenty of restaurants, shops, and outdoor activities nearby. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds, spacious kitchen, and hot tub!

Fantastic stay! The house was clean, had plenty of linens including hot tub towels. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items needed to cook and BBQ. Hot tub was ready to go at a perfect 102°. We enjoyed that too! All the beds were really comfortable! The basement with full bathroom, two twin beds, huge couch and a TV (with a PlayStation) was a great for the kids! Nice to have a separate space. Having access to the garage made it quick and easy to get things unloaded and loaded for day to day activities. Would look at staying here again next time we visit!

We would highly recommend staying in the Utah's Best Vacation Rental accommodations. The condo was exactly as pictured, clean, comfortable and stylish. The kitchen was especially well equipped, with everything you could possibly need, and in great condition! The condo is located in a perfect, convenient location for skiers, with quick access to both Big and Little Cottonwood canyons, as well as Park City. The hot tub was especially enjoyable after a day on the slopes, too! We hope to be able to stay in a Utahs Best Vacation Rentals accommodation again in the future.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this comfortable townhome in Cottonwood Heights close to the canyons. The rooms were spacious and inviting, and there were unique artistic touches throughout. The backyard jacuzzi was a great feature, and although there isn’t a fence separating the property from the neighbor’s, we didn’t have any issues. The checkin/checkout procedures were clear, and the property management company was responsive and helpful.

We loved the place where we stayed. There was so much room and house was beautiful and clean. The master bedroom is amazing with the high ceilings, a huge space and private bathroom. The beds were so comfortable! The showers and jacuzzi tub were so big and updated. We loved the location and it was easy access to get anywhere in the Salt Lake area. Spacious place with great living/communal spaces (living room upstairs next to the dining room plus a TV room downstairs in the room with the twin beds). Hot tub was great and although it’s near a busy street of cars, there’s trees and a large wood fence to make it feel private.
The instructions sent for the door code were not correct (seemed to be a different lock than we had) but thankfully Utah’s Best team was extremely responsive and attentive to anything as it came up.

The location is hard to beat for easy access to both Cottonwood Canyons and I-80 (for Park City/Deer Valley). Condo is very comfortable, well-appointed and user-friendly, close to grocery store. Be aware that South Wasatch Blvd. runs right behind the condo, and there's a decent amount of traffic noise during AM and PM rush hour, especially in the master suite.

Clean and very well stocked unit. Location is awesome for both little and big cottonwood canyons. Grocery store a half mile away and walkable. Comfy beds and plenty of towels and linens. Only complaint was make sure the hot tub is clean. I carry test strips with me due to so many having improperly managed water. Tested the hot tub and it barely had any chemicals in the water upon our arrival. Had to have that addressed which took two days due to the water not being properly heated after it was refilled.

We rented this place to accommodate family visiting from out of town. The place is decorated to make you feel like you're right at home. It was one of the cleanest places we've stayed at which made our stay feel cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the ensuite and fully stocked house (games, plates, mixing bowls, toaster, pots, pans, etc.). You will want to stop at the Smith's 5 minutes down the road for oil, spices, and groceries. The park next door is convenient for a walk or for kids. The traffic noise is noticeable when the windows are open but was overall really quiet with the windows closed. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends!

We had a great experience. This condo is conveniently located within about 30 minutes of Snowbird, Solitude, And Brighton. Beautiful kitchen with new appliances, nicely stocked with all the pots and pans and dinner ware you could ever need. Huge master bedroom, with two additional bedrooms on second floor. There were a set of double beds in the finished basement for the kids. TVs, XBox. The hot tub was great and well maintained. Everything was clean and perfect. We had a small issue with hot tub but maintenance promptly responded and fixed it. This was a phenomenal experience which made our skiing experience even better. Thanks.

This was a great property at a great price. The owners clearly take pride in the property. Kitchen is appointed the best I've experienced with plenty of dishes, silverware, glasses, etc. And the dishes, pans etc. were nice (not the cheapest) and plentiful. Heck, the even had 2 coffee makers in case you had a full house. Unit was also very nicely decorated with a variety if interesting and tasteful art work. Nice hot tub out back where it is a bit noisy from the main roadway on the backside of a sound wall but it didn't interfere with our hot tub therapy after skiing. Noise did not transfer into back bedroom and bedrooms with one bedroom nearest busy road having a white noise machine available should you want it. Beds were a bit cushier than I prefer but certainly nice if you like soft top beds. Nice washer and dryer available with soap provided. All in all, I'd gravitate to this place again for my next stay in salt lake. Had some delay with the unit apparently not being cleaned in time for our 4pm check in but the Property Manager was outstanding working with us on resolving the problem in a manner that worked for us.

This place was fabulous! We were in town visiting family and this condo could not have been more perfect! Great place for all of us to spread out. The beds were the most comfortable beds we have EVER slept in (including my own at home!) The hot tub was great, the kitchen had everything you could possible need and it was a nice quiet end unit. This home is in a great central location, close to Salt Lake City and the Mountain areas. There was plenty of room for our family, we had five adults. The home was very clean, the beds were all comfortable. It’s at the end of the street next to a park. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this condo! It was beautiful, spacious and clean. It had great access to the mountains, and it was a short distance to a grocery store and restaurants. It was also easy to get to downtown Salt Lake City from the condo. You do hear some road noise in the master bedroom. But we would definitely stay here again.

We travel a lot and have stayed in various houses and cabins often. Out kids all said this was “the best house ever”. I think it was the “5-story” aspect of the split level layout that sold them on it. Safe area.

Ski Haven was great and UBVR was great to work with. The location was fantastic, up against the park, and we really enjoyed our time the back deck and in the park. The owners were incredibly accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

The town home met our expectations. The Property Management team was responsive via email not by phone. They did however email back promptly. The place was clean and in good condition. I would definitely recommend it. There is plenty of commerce in the area in regards to groceries and restaurants. We stayed there during the COVID 19 crisis and still had plenty of options for outdoors and shopping to meet our needs. Thank you for the memorable experience.

This home is spacious, very clean, very comfortable and well-appointed with quality bedding, towels, cookware, etc. The large master tub was so nice but it used all the hot water to fill it up! We also enjoyed the small park right outside the driveway. It was an easy drive to Snowbird where we skied (although road closures may be an issue due to weather). Several grocery store options are nearby. Also, it is not far to go into Salt Lake City for dinner. I highly recommend this home!

This house served as home base for our Christmas with our 2 adult children and their significant others. The home is exactly as advertised and was an amazing location for anyone skiing Brighton/Solitude and Snowbird/Alta as it sits almost exactly between them and there is a bus stop about a block away. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of nice cookware and the hot tub was perfect. We would definitely stay here again if ever visiting the area again! Highly recommended.

I've been staying in the Oaks at Wasatch for years due to it's fantastic location between big and little cottonwood canyon. I've stayed in all kinds of units over the years and Utah's Best Vacation Rentals not only was great to work with but their homes seem to be the nicest by far. Upgraded, remodeled, well stocked, etc. I highly recommend this home. Great back deck and hot tub as well.

I loved staying at this property. I felt like I was at home and it was very cozy. The view of the mountains in every direction was breadth taking. I am from Chicago so we get to see nothing but flat lands! :) The entire process from renting the house to today leaving to head back home has been seamless. This home offered everything that you would need away from your own home. When I come back to Utah, this will be my first choice. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

Perfect place to stay! Close to Solitude and Brighton. Hot tub outside was nice after a day of snowboarding. Super market and gas station down the road. Lots of room, I would stay here again on my next visit to SLC.

Set up nicely for a vacation rental. Good beds and attractive furnishing and decor. Great location for access to Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons. Minor annoyance is that the townhome is right on Wasatch Blvd, so there is a bit of road noise (there is a sound wall between road and patio with hot tub). However, the road noise did not really bother us. But, might be a concern with a summertime rental. BBQ and hot tub were great! We really enjoyed our stay.
