Powder Mountain in Salt Lake with Private Hot Tub

This property is located in cottonwood , and just 20 mins drive to Snowbird, 30 mins to Brighton. There’s only one issue is the WiFi. The WiFi did not work well even we restarted the router. At the end, we have to use our cellphone for hotspot

Everything was clean, the house was perfect for me and my family. The garage and driveway were too short for our rental car and we had to park diagonally to keep the vehicle off the street.

Perfect for us as we attended a family event nearby. Tidy, well equipped. room separation afforded family members privacy. Would choose again. Was glad it wasn't any warmer as there is a regulator on the A/C and I was staying in the upstairs room. Downstairs they were comfortable, I was hot.

This home was perfect for our needs. We were in town for my daughter's wedding and had 14 people in total staying here. There were enough beds, rooms and bathrooms for everyone, plus a very comfortable couch on the main floor. The kids enjoyed soaking in the hot tub. I was thankful there was a very nice iron and ironing board for all the tablecloths I needed to iron. Lol. Each bathroom also had a hair dryer which was great for the multiple girls lodging here. My younger boys thought the basement bunk room was so neat!! When we arrived, the code we were given didn't work. I called the rental management company and they were immediately able to give me a different code that worked. I'm glad they were very responsive. We would stay again if in the area.

Overall great stay with little to complain about. I’ve stayed at other VRBO properties and they’ve always had some kitchen basics of salt, pepper, Pam, etc., but none of that here. Also, the games and books were poor. Would stay again, but more prepared.

This a yearly reunion with high school friends and this almost perfect. The condo was great, the communication was great and the only very small inconvenience is how creaky the house was but that is kind of expected with an older house. The parking was a challenge be we utilized the park and ride just down the street and ran a shuttle which added to experience. I would recommend this to almost anyone unless they have a hard time with stairs as there are a lot of them. I know we would come back if the need presented itself again.

Stayed here two nights to have a brief exploration of Salt Lake City. Stairs took some getting used to as there's a lot of them and they're shallower than I am familiar with. Strong AC was very appreciated during 100+ degree weather. Nice beds and furniture.

While the Powder Mountain house wasn’t our original pick, it worked out fine for our family. UVB knocked the ball out of the ballpark w/the Christmas tree & Mantle swag, which went right along with the decorations I brought from home to make it Christmasy. The house was very close to everything we wanted to do while we were there. There wasn’t anything I can think of that you could need that wasn’t already there. The hot tub was very nice, and modern, just what we needed after a day of skiing. We had a few ideas for improvement to UBV but otherwise we loved our family Christmas vacay at the home. We definitely recommend Powder Mountain for a family or a group looking for comfortable, roomy and well equipped home that is in just right place to enjoy all the area has to offer. You won’t be disappointed.

We had a great stay at this property. It was nice to stay in a home that was obviously very cared for with lots of attention to details. Yhe kitchen was well stocked, the laundry situation was perfect, beds were beautiful amd comfy, and the hotub was perfect. The only heads up I'd give is that the driveway is short so if you have an oversized vehicle you need to park at an angle or as the next door neighbor told me, you will get towed for sticking out the end of the driveway. And I think the master bathroom doorknob should be replaced since it doesn't lock well and the toilet is in a super awkward spot. ;) Had a great time, would highly recommend.

Great condo with comfy beds and a hangout spot for the kids. Super clean and well furnished. Our group included 4 adults and 6 kids (2 of which are toddlers). Plenty of appliances and dishes in the kitchen. Close to grocery stores and some good restaurants/breweries. We would definitely come back with friends and older kiddos. We probably wouldn’t come back with the toddler and baby due to the stairs, rooms being on 4 levels, and the backyard space not being fenced. Excellent for older kid groups! 30 minutes from Lagoon and Thanksgiving Point museums.

If there was any drawbacks it would be that the upstairs bedroom does not cool very well….probably a ducting problem maybe.?.? Had to have the AC turned way down which made the other floors very cold In order to get the upstairs bedroom cool enough to sleep. Other than that it was great! I would stay there again for sure!

I had a great time staying here for a 3 day weekend. Very spacious and accommodating to the group of 5 people I was with. Each bed in the house could easily fit 2 people comfortably and the bunk beds downstairs have pull out beds as well, so that was nice. The hot tub was relaxing and the whole house was incredibly clean. We took an Uber downtown which was about $30 one way so not too bad... safe location and a beautiful neighborhood!

Our group of 7 (four older teens and three adults) stayed a week in early April for spring skiing, hiking, and to visit the University of Utah, where my son will begin studying in the fall. The condo was absolutely perfect, from the price, communication, location, amenities, cleanliness, etc. The condo was very organized and had everything you need, including thoughtful things like detergent pods for dishwasher and laundry machine, coffee filters, ziploc bags, spices for cooking, etc. The hot tub was a hit after a day of skiing and hiking. The teens loved the bunk rom and gaming console and ping pong table. We plan on returning often since our son will be in college and will definitely stay here again. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of linens - we loved our stay here. There were books, and games, and everything was labeled with a place to go. It was so nice. The hot tub was the icing on the cake and the perfect way to end a ski day. My only complaint was that the fireplace didn’t work....and the kids were not happy with “loud” beds in the bunk room, but they survived. I would definitely rent this place again!

Very nice house close by to Brighton and Solitude and other ski resorts. Hot tub was a plus to our vacation. We had some issues connecting to the wifi but the host was quick to respond and fix it.

Nice multilevel home so each familY unit had their own Floor level. Maintenance concerns: Dish washer door does not seal so it leaks During the wash cycle. Master shower drain fill up by end of a shower, about every other night. Dining room table is finish is flaking and covering us with “glitter” every meal. Several chairs are very week so couldn’t use the for fear of breaking them, causing damage or need for a doctor visit. Hot tub was wonderful. Location next to park is awesome. We ate there several times. Beautiful home and the kitchen is well stocked with all possible appliances.

This place is super clean, great communication, comfy beds! We would love to take our kids here because of the bunk bed room (6 beds full or queen I think). There are 5 levels to this place. Top level is the master bed and bath, then the kitchen/dining and half bath, then the living space (which for a larger group would be too small), then a bed and bath, then the bunk bed room is on the bottom floor. We loved the hot tub and just had a great stay for our needs. We also accidentally locked ourselves out and it was super easy to communicate with them to get it to open up for us. House was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could think of (coffee maker, crock pot, blender, mixer) Hot tub was drained and cleaned just for us and was awesome (and I’m a germaphobe). Kids room was awesome for our 15 and 18 year old. Master bath was beautiful. The other shower was Ok - you can tell it gets used more (which makes sense as it’s not attached to a bedroom) but it wasn’t a problem. Just note there is only salt and pepper so you will have to buy any food staples. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, great communication and a beautiful and very comfortable unit, that is fully stocked and organized with everything you'll need. Tri-level unit; 3 bedrooms with a master unit upstairs, 2 bedrooms on the bottom level and a bathroom on each. We had an uh-oh moment late on the night we arrived when we realized we had no coffee filters and were happy to find some in the kitchen cabinet. We've stayed at a number of Airbnb's throughout the U.S. over the years, and this ranks at or near the top. You won't be disappointed.

We would stay again. The home is updated and very clean. Everything from towels to everything you need to cook was stocked and extremely organized. The jacuzzi was nice to relax in. The neighborhood was very nice. The home does have multiple levels and would be tough for guests that are unable to deal with stairs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented this unit for a group of 7 friends on a ski vacation to SLC. The house itself was modern and had everything needed for the 4 days we were there. Plenty of towels and bedding and a fully stocked kitchen. The hot tub was excellent after a day on the mountain and everyone slept comfortably in the beds. The downstairs bunk room even had enough room for more people, but we found that the house was very comfortable for 7 adults. The proximity to the canyons is hard to beat. There is a 953 ski bus stop just across the street (4 min walk) which will take you up to Snowbird/Alta in 25-30min. Unfortunately Little Cottonwood was closed for the duration of our stay due to some heavy snow and severe avalanches so we had to head over to Big Cottonwood the whole time, which is not as conveniently accessed via the ski bus. The 953 heading that direction does not start picking up until sometime after 9am, so we had to take Uber/Lyft to the base of the canyon where we could catch the 972. Not really a big issue, but it's something to keep in mind if you don't plan on renting a car. Overall an excellent stay, we would highly recommend this location.

Place was great and as advertised. One small issue was the fireplace was not operable during our stay. The location is good from the standpoint of providing access to 4 ski resorts, but be forewarned that winter weather can really extend travel time to the mountains( 4 wheel drive vehicle is a must). Overall, was a great stay.

This was a great place to stay for a family vacation. The kitchen was fully equipped. Better than most VRBO’s. The unit is decorated beautifully and we loved that there were two king beds. I appreciated that there were extra mirrors in the rooms and night stands and dressers for all our stuff as well as luggage racks. The location was perfect for us. Close to 4 ski resorts, down town and not far from Park City. The tv’s in the downstairs bedrooms were a bit confusing. Did not get live tv or stations. But there was something to watch.

They thought of everything when they set up this place. The kitchen was very well equipped. We loved that the bedrooms had night stands and places to put clothing and extras as well as having mirrors in the rooms too. Our fireplace didn't work the week we were there which was a bummer since we don't have one in our home in Florida. I will add that the cleaning crew could do a better job with baseboards and junk behind the beds and nightstands from other people. The place is so nice that it would be great if it can stay that way over the years. You can't beat the location though! So close to 4 great ski areas and downtown.

A perfect place for a small family gathering. Only shortcoming is that we called the management office to have them check out the fireplace, which was not working. They quickly scheduled an appointment for maintenance to service the unit. Maintenance never came or called and the fireplace wasn’t fixed. No concerns. We stayed warm anyway.
