We don't currently offer vacation homes in Moab, but have lodging affiliates we recommend.

The town sits between two national parks (Arches and Canyonlands) and is just down the road from spectacular Dead Horse Point Utah State Park. It also offers plenty for people interested in "soft" adventure. It is a great fun to auto tour the parks and take day hikes or leisurely strolls to see area attractions.

The mighty Colorado River winds past the town, and it provides exceptional whitewater rafting. Upstream from Moab you will find Westwater Canyon, which is relatively family-friendly with rapids ranging from Class III-IV. Downstream, the river river plunges into Cataract Canyon, where rapids are rated at Class IV-V. Class V rapids are considered the upper limit that can be run safely by experienced river guides.

Modern technology has made river running much safer and more enjoyable. It makes a great family adventure.

The Slickrock mountain bike trail is located just east of Moab. It is perhaps the most famous bike trail in the world and is a "must ride" for all serious bikers. But it is not the only quality trail in the area. There are a dozen more exceptional bike trails in the area.

Canyonlands National Park offers jeep trails that rank with the most challenging anywhere. The park offers miles and miles of remove backcountry that can only be seen by people who use 4X4 vehicles to drive the rough trails and roads, and by people who don't mind hiking or backpacking long distances.

Canyonlands does offer a couple paved scenic drives, which take people to incredible viewpoints.

In Arches National Park, most of the famous features can be seen from the paved scenic drive, or by making short hikes from the paved road. Arches is home to iconic Delicate Arch, the rock span that graces many Utah license plates. It also features Landscape Arch, which is one of the largest natural rock spans in the world.

Moab also offers several very popular annual events including the Moab Jeep Safari and several bike festivals.
