Loveland Living Planet Aquarium

The Living Planet Aquarium has become one of Utah´s most unique and popular attractions, and is definitely a must-see if you are planning a trip to Utah. Exhibits feature sharks, rays, seahorses and jellyfish as well as octopus, eels, piranhas, a rescued Green sea turtle and Gentoo penguins! It is a unique opportunity for the many landlocked Utahns, particularly children, who have not previously had the chance to interact with such creatures.

The living planet aquarium is located 20 minutes south of downtown Salt Lake in Draper, UT. Grand opening in spring 2014. The aquarium is home to 4,000 animals representing 450 species. The public aquarium consists of three main exhibits: Discover Utah, Ocean Explorer, and Journey to South America.

Be sure to check out the new Penguin Exhibit where penguin swim and play and interact with visitors. Enjoy access to their underwater world with views of the underwater as they swim.

Downtown "Jingle" Bus During the Holidays

Starting holiday service Nov. 29 through the holiday season, jump on and off Salt Lake`s new San Francisco-style trolley car "jingle bus" on multiple stops throughout downtown Salt Lake. It`s free, and allows you to get from shopping mall to mall and see the famous Christmas lights at Temple Square. Watch for this trolley while you`re downtown and hitch a ride at one of the many stops.
